William Shakespeare "Romeo and Juliet"

William Shakespeare wrote several plays and poems, and one of his best plays is the love story of "Romeo and Juliet."  This is a story about first love and two families who are at war with one another.  Even though Romeo's family and Juliet's family are sworn enemies, Romeo and Juliet fall in love.  How does their relationship change them?  What will they do to create peace between their feuding families?  Click on some of the links below to discover more:

The Greek gods and goddesses were a way for the ancient Greeks to explain the natural world around them. The gods and goddesses had colorful personalities and complicated relationships with each other and with mortals (human beings). 

Directions:  Choose a god or goddess from the following Olympian Gods to research and create a poster about him/her.

You will be graded on you poster, your questionnaire, and your use of class time to research your god/goddess. 

This project is worth 100 points total!

Conclusion:  We will come back together as a class at the end of the project to discuss each of the gods and goddesses.  Be prepared to tell everyone what you learned about your god or goddess!
